Breakthrough Teams are cross-governmental teams of The Kansas Collaborative, facilitated by TeamTech Inc., which undertake creative problem-solving and implementation. Results and cost savings options of Breakthrough Teams are shared in the Resource Center. Membership in teams is open to those willing to come together to share their data, knowledge and experience and to craft options and solutions together.

Four Breakthrough Team (above) are under way now as The Kansas Collaborative works to identify more innovative solutions as catalyzed by the pilot Prescription Drugs for Inmate Populations Breakthrough Team.

If you see an issue or challenge that needs a cross-governmental approach to solve it, submit a Breakthrough Team Proposal Form.

Proposals for new Breakthrough Teams need to include the following:

1. What is the problem/challenge that needs to be addressed?
2. What is the current situation?
3. What do you want to change about the current situation? What is the desired outcome/goals?
4. What solutions have been tried before? What was successful or unsuccessful in these efforts?
5. Who would need to be involved to address this?

Please download the Breakthrough Team Proposal Form and submit it with your answers to Kathleen Harnish-Doucet at kathleen@teamtechinc.com. Proposals will be reviewed by The Kansas Collaborative Steering Team on a monthly basis. Available funding may limit the ability to take on additional Breakthrough Teams.
